Klaviyo is an email marketing platform created for online businesses - with powerful SMS and email marketing automation. Setting up Klaviyo for your store helps you to run your email marketing campaigns. After you have set up Klaviyo for your store, we will synchronize data on customer actions on the site with Klaviyo. This article will give you a list of synchronized data.

A. Viewed product



Data of this action will be recorded when customers view any product on your store.

Data of this action can only be recorded after customers are identified by registering, logging in to their accounts on your store, or entering delivery information on your store's checkout page.

B. Added to cart



Data of this action will be recorded when customers add to cart any products on your store.

Data of this action can only be recorded after customers are identified by registering, logging in to their accounts on your store, or entering delivery information on your store's checkout page.

C. Started checkout



Data of this action will be recorded when the customer enters his or her contact and delivery information on the first page of the checkout process and clicks to resume the checkout process.

The data is synchronized with the URL link of the checkout page on which a customer is making a payment for their shopping cart. If a customer opens an email promoting unpaid order fulfillment on a new device, the data related to the URL link of the checkout page associated with that cart will continue to be recorded.

D. Placed order



Data of this action is recorded when customers complete checkout process and create an order in your store.

E. Ordered product



Data is recorded when customers make an order, and is tracked for each individual item in the customers' shopping cart.

F. Fulfilled order



Data will be recorded when the order is marked as fulfilled in your store.

G. Canceled order



Data will be recorded when customers create an order in your store, then cancel it before it is fulfilled.

H. Refunded order



Data will be recorded when customers complete payment in your store and the payment is processed. However, the customer requests the payment to be refunded. Klaviyo only accepts data from fully refunded orders, not partially refunded ones.

I. Tracking added



Data will be recorded when tracking information is added to an order in your store. This typically occurs when a tracking number is assigned to a fulfilled order, allowing customers to track their shipment.

J. Order in transit



Data will be recorded when an order's shipping status is updated to "In Transit." This means the package has been shipped and is currently on its way to the customer.

K. Order out for delivery



Data will be recorded when an order's shipping status is updated to "Out for Delivery." This indicates that the package is in the final stage of transit and is expected to be delivered soon.

The events tracking added, order in transit, and order out for delivery (sections I, J, K) are only recorded for PrintBase and PlusBase stores. ShopBase stores do NOT support recording these events.
