To integrate Klaviyo with your ShopBase store, you only need one credential from your Klaviyo account: Klayvio Public API Key

A. Get Klaviyo Public API Key

In your Klaviyo main menu, navigate to Account > Settings > API Keys or simply click here.

If you don’t have Klaviyo Account, you can create it at Klaviyo Registration Page

Copy the Public API Key of your account & go to the next step



B. Integrate with ShopBase store

In your ShopBase main menu, navigate to Online Store > Preferences > scroll to Klaviyo section



Paste your Klaviyo API Key in the input then click Save button



Make a few test purchases to get ShopBase & Klaviyo to sync & you’re ready to create an email campaign in Klaviyo

C. Understand your ShopBase data in Klaviyo

Once you enabled Klaviyo Integration, we’ll sync both customer’s activities on-site & orders actions. Below is the list of all the metrics synced to Klaviyo.

1. View Product

This event is tracked when a customer views any product on your ShopBase Store.

This event is only tracked after a customer is identified by signed up, signed in with his/her account on your ShopBase store or filled shipping information on ShopBase checkout progress.

2. Add to cart

This event is tracked when a customer adds any products to the cart

This event is only tracked after a customer is identified by signed up, signed in with his/her account on your ShopBase store or filled shipping information on ShopBase checkout progress.

3. Started Checkout

This event is tracked when a customer enters his/her contact and shipping information on the first page of the ShopBase checkout process and clicks continue.

This event syncs with a checkout URL property, which links back to each customer’s unique cart. If someone opens an abandoned cart email from a new device, this link will rebuild the person’s cart when clicked through.

4.Placed Order

This event is tracked when a customer completes the checkout process and creates an order in your ShopBase store.

5. Ordered Product

This event is also tracked when a customer places an order, but a separate event is tracked for each item someone purchases

6. Fulfilled Order

This event is tracked when an order is marked as “fulfilled” in your ShopBase store. Klaviyo will track as fulfilled Orderevent specifically when we sync an order with a fulfillment Status of “fulfilled".

7. Canceled Order

This event is tracked when a customer creates an order in your ShopBase store but then cancels the order before fulfillment.

8. Refunded Order

This event is tracked when a customer completes the checkout process in your ShopBase store and payment is made, but the customer requests the payment to be returned. Klaviyo only receives events from fully refunded orders (not partially refunded orders).
