Enable Smart Offers
Smart Offers is a feature that automatically offers upsell and cross-sell suggestions customized to each type of customers based on their purchase history and behaviors on the store. Using Smart Offers reduces workload when your store has too many products, and it takes a lot of time to create cross-sell and cross-sell suggestions for each individual product. ShopBase's Smart Offers feature is supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, which includes two distinct features Smart Pre-purchase (Smart Hints for Pre-purchase upsell) and Smart Bundles (Smart suggestions for Bundles cross-sell). Pre-purchase Upsell is a sales form that recommends customers other related products after they have added a product to their shopping cart. You can refer to this article to know how to create a Pre-purchase Upsell. Enabling Smart Pre-purchase helps stores make smarter suggestions.
From ShopBase admin site, go to Apps > Boost Upsell. You can also access the Boost Upsell app by going to Marketing & Sales > Boost Upsell. Then, click on Setting.
Enable Smart Pre-Purchase.
Click Set-up recommendation rules to establish the rules for Smart Pre-Purchase feature which includes:
Target product rules: Set a rule for Smart Pre-purchase so that ShopBase system automatically displays Pre-purchase upsell for these products. You can choose is one of these products (Smart Pre-purchase applied product is one of the selected products), then select all products in the store or just manually selected products. You can also select is not one of these products (Smart Pre-purchase are applied on all products except the selected products), then manually select a list of products that do not apply Smart Pre-purchase via Manually selected products.
Offer's discount: Enable Offer's discount and set discounts on suggestions you give to customers in Discount percentage.
Upsell product ranking rules: Set up rules for ShopBase to display suggested products in order according to your preference. You can check your preferred properties to select suggested products or arrange properties to prioritize them from top to bottom. The Max number of up-sell products showed in Up-sell popup section is the number of products that will be suggested to the customer (optional).
Click Save changes.
Bundles Cross-sell is the sales form recommending customers other related products right below the Add To Cart button when the customer is on any product page. You should enable the Smart Bundles feature to make smarter product recommendations.
From ShopBase admin site, go to Apps > Boost Upsell. You can also access the Boost Upsell app by going to Marketing & Sales > Boost Upsell. Then, click on Setting.
Enable Smart Bundles.
Click Set-up recommendation rules to set up the activity rules for the Smart Bundles feature. On the new page, enable Offer's discount and enter a number for the discount percentage if you want to add discount to this offer for your customers.
Click Save changes.
On PlusBase, you can set up Upsell offers for both Dropshipping and POD products on your store.
