Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides an extra layer of security to your store admin login. Even if someone obtains your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the second verification step.
When logging in, you will be required to:
Enter your email and password.
Enter a verification code (OTP code) from your authenticator app.
Change two-factor authentication settings
Install Google Authenticator: download and install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device:
Android: Google Play Store
iOS: App Store
Enable two-factor authentication
In your store admin, go to Settings > Account.

Click View your profile.

Scroll to the Two-Factor Authentication section, click the Enable 2FA button.

Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device, then scan the QR code shown on the screen.

Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app. Click Verify OTP code to complete the setup.

Disable two-factor authentication
In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click the Disable 2FA button.

Enter the current active authentication code that appears in the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. Click Confirm to disable 2FA.
