Add a blog to your store
A blog is an excellent way to increase website traffic, promote your products and services, and build trust with potential customers. You can add blog to your online store and publish articles (or blog posts) using ShopBase's built-in features by following the instructions in this article.

By default, your store has a blog called "News". You can use this blog, or create your own with a custom name.
Below are the steps to create a blog with a custom name. But before you can go with these steps, you need to create your first blog post.
From your ShopBase admin site, go to Online store > Blog posts and click Create blog post.
In the new page, enter information to create your blog post. Please refer to this article for more information on how to create your blog post.
To create a new blog, in the Organization section, click Create a new blog.
Enter the name of your new blog and click Save.
In the Organization section, from the Select blog drop-down menu, select the blog your just created.
Once your new blog post is finished, click Save.
Now that you've created your blog, you can add it in your navigation menu by following the instructions here.
From your ShopBase admin site, go to Online store > Blog post.
Click Manage blogs.
Click Add blog.
In the new page, enter your blog title in the Title section. Then, select how you want to manage comments by following the instructions in this article.
In Search engine listing preview, click Edit website SEO to edit the page title, meta description, URL and handle of your blog. For more information on how to edit the search engine listing for your blog, please refer to section C of this article.
Now that you've created your blog, you can add it in your navigation menu by following the instructions here.

Select the blog you want to edit.
In the new page, enter the new title in the Title field.
Click Save.
You can change the text that appears in a blog's search engine results. To help new customers find your online store and persuade them to click the link, use a descriptive title and description.
From your ShopBase admin site, go to Online store > Blog posts. Click Manage blogs.
Select the blog you want to edit.
In Search engine listing preview, click Edit website SEO.
In the Page title section, enter a descriptive title for your blog. By default, the title of your blog will be the page title. You can enter up to 70 characters in the page title.
In Meta description, enter a description for the search engine listing. Make sure to include relevant keywords to help new customers find your link, and to include your business name. You can enter up to 320 characters in the description.
The page title and meta description have set character limits. If you enter more text than the character limit allows, your page title and description will be shortened in search engine results.
When you create a blog, a URL and handle are automatically generated according to your store's domain and blog's title. You can change this web address of your blog in the URL and handle section. Please note that the URL can't contain any space.
Once finished, click Save.
