Understand ShopBase's Translation Pricing and Billing

ShopBase offers a unique blend of translation services to cater to the diverse needs of your online store. This guide aims to help you comprehend how the pricing and billing for translation services are structured.

Pricing and Billing

The translation service is offered at a rate of $0.04 per 1000 translated words, with billing occurring on the first day of each new month, deducted from your balance.
Your monthly expense is calculated based in the total word count of translated content within the month, ensuring you only pay for the services ultilized. The pricing formula is as follows: Monthly cost = Number of words translated in a month x $0.04 / 1000.

For example: Let's consider your store's translated word count for a month, which is 100,000 words. On the first day of the next month, you will incur a translation fee based on the actual number of words translated. The fee calculation is as follows: 100,000 x $0.04/1000 = $4. For that month, you will pay $4 for the translation fee.

Pricing Estimation

Translation pricing can fluctuate based on the amount of content in your store.

Typically, translating an entire website to a different language for a store with approximately 1,000 products can cost around $40.

You can monitor your monthly expenses by tracking them on the Add Language dashboard. This allows you to keep an eye on your costs and manage them effectively.
