You tried to import products to ShopBase by CSV but something's wrong? If yes, you might want to see our checklist below to find out why and follow our suggestions.

A. Incorrect CSV file format
B. Issues from Excel
C. Heavy traffic from other stores
D. Import over quota

If you have checked all possible issues but still can't import, please chat and let us know.

A. Incorrect CSV file format

You should download the sample CSV file and check if yours is following this template. Please note:
The names and order of columns (from left to right) should follow the sample file exactly.
Each row represents a product or variant. Rows with the same handle will be variants for one particular product.

B. Issues from Excel

If your Excel version exports a different CSV file format than the required format, the issue might occur. To get this checked, please upload your CSV file to Google Sheets, then download it as a new CSV file and upload the new one again.

C. Heavy traffic from other stores

In case many other stores are uploading files to the system, you might be unable to upload it. Kindly wait for about 1-2 hours, then try again.

D. Import over quota

Each subscription plan goes with a limit on how many products you can import by CSV file each day:
Trial/Basic Base plan: 3,000 products/day
Standard Base plan: 6,000 products/day
Pro Base plan: 30,000 products/day

When you reach the quota, the error message pops up as below:

In this case, you can add products manually to ShopBase, or please wait till the next day to continue.
