Sometimes, you will notice the Social Proof notifications aren't displaying on your storefront. Here are some common reasons and solutions for this:


Your store hasn't received actual orders.

When you turn on the notifications, data about orders from your store backend will be synced to the app. If you haven't had any sales yet, there will be no data to sync and the popup will not appear.

Solution: follow steps in this article to create custom notifications.


Browsers show the old version of the site (without Boost Convert app)

When you first visit a site, your browser will save pieces of it. If you're back to the site, in order to speed up the loading process, the browser will pull off the file stored in its cache and display the old version without updates.

Solution: accessing incognito window would help avoid remaining caches. For each browser, you can use these keyboard shortcuts to open a private mode.
