Welcome to ShopBase Creator Seller policy
This ShopBase Creator Seller policy (“Policy”) is an official policy applied for ShopBase Creator' users. In this document, ShopBase Creator are referred to as “ShopBase Creator”, "we", “us”, or “our” and the entity or person are referred to as “you”, “user”, or “your”.

ShopBase Creator is available for users who tend to sel-l digital products including online courses, 1-1 coaching sessions, and digital downloads.
By using ShopBase Creator, merchants must agree to adhere to ShopBase's Terms of Service. and comply with ShopBase Creator’s product listing and advertising policy.
You may not use our Services to:
Upload, promote or deliver Digital Products which are prohibited by ShopBase Creator from Prohibited Products and Activities
Provide false information about product characteristics, exaggerating advertisements about product features and uses
Exhibit inconsistency between product information on the product sales page with the information posted by the user on advertising sites such as Facebook, Google, TikTok, etc.
You shall bear full responsibility for all costs including Claims, Disputes, Refunds, Reversals, Returns, or Fines, Courts, or other buyer compensation arising as a result of product advertisement and product delivery.
ShopBase Creator, in its sole and absolute discretion, may allow for a refund (partial or full) or decline transactions of any digital products purchased in our platform at any time for any of the following reasons:
If digital products violate Prohibited Business
If the transaction for digital products is proven to be fraudulent or unauthorized
If digital products violate trade sanctions and Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or ShopBase's Terms of Service
If digital products are not eligible for guaranteed delivery date as committed in the order confirmation
If the quality standard of digital products including inaccurate and unavailable content
is not ensured
All costs related to buyer compensation must be withdrawn and deducted from your ShopBase Creator Balance. If the Balance is negative, the amount will be directly charged to the credit card linked to the ShopBase Creator Balance.
Holds
In order to maintain the security and integrity of the network for the buyers and sellers using, along with the intent of maintaining the overall security of the platform, we may take Balance Account-level or store-level actions under certain circumstances. If we detect any cases of suspicious activity or actions deemed to be in violation of ShopBase’s Terms of Service, we retain the sole discretion to take these actions, and we will notify you of any such action. To request information in connection with an account for long-term or short-term holds, you are advised to follow the instructions emailed to you with respect to the hold implementation.
Our decisions on holds are based on criteria that are essential to our management of risk and the protection of our customers and/or service providers on the ShopBase platform. Disclosure of related details are restricted and subject to our considerations without any obligation unless required by governmental authorities.
In the events of chargebacks, the funds (including the total order value and $15 of dispute fee) will remain in your Total Current Available of ShopBase Creator Balance:
If the chargeback is won, chargeback amount is released to the merchants, and the merchants will be lost the dispute fee
If the chargeback is lost, merchants must pay a $15 chargeback fee to the bank and the order value to the customer, therefore that amount will be permanently deducted.
Payouts
The profit of orders via ShopBase Creator’s payment gateway will be moved from Pending to review to Available to payout section in your ShopBase Creator Balance after at least 7 calendar days.
The first payout will take a bit longer than expected. Please refer to this article on how to request a payout with ShopBase Creator Payments for more details.
With regards to coaching products, the order profit will be moved to Available to payout once the coaching completion is confirmed.
ShopBase Creator will reserve the right to permanently suspend/deactivate your ShopBase Creator accounts, your access and use of the Platform or retain any or all funds in your ShopBase Creator’s Balance without prior notice and in its sole and exclusive discretion in accordance with ShopBase Terms of Service.
