Product variations or Variants are different versions of a product, for example a M-sized black T-shirt and a S-sized red T-shirt are two variations of a T-shirt product. The other two definitions related to product variation are Options and Option values. In the example above, size and color are the two options for a plain T-shirt; S and M are the two values for the size option of a plain T-shirt.
This article will guide you on how to add, remove, or edit options and values from the product details edit page.
Step by Step Tutorial
From your ShopBase admin, go to Products > All products.
Click the name of the product that you want to edit.
In the Variants section, click Edit options.
In the Edit options window, you can edit product's options:
To change an option name, click it and enter the new name.
To add a new option, click Add another option and enter the option name and a default option value. You can only create an option value.
To delete an option value, click the x beside it. Any variants with that option value will also be deleted.
To delete an option, remove all but one of the option values, then click the trash can icon beside the option.
Click Save.
