You can make your product visible to customers/search engines to find/hide it on your online store by changing the product availability. It is necessary in many situations such as when the product in your store has run out of stock, or depending on the store business strategies.

The following article will guide you on how to change the availability of a product to customers or to search engines.

Step by Step Tutorial

From your ShopBase admin, go to Products > All products. Choose the product you want to change its availability.


In the product detail edit page, navigate to the Product availability section on the right.

Tick Online store listing pages if you want to enable product availability on the store, allowing customers to find information about the product from the homepage, collection page, search page, etc. on the store. Untick this option if you want to disable product availability on the store, disallowing customers to find information about the product from the homepage, collection page, search page, etc. When availability is disabled, the product is still available on the store, and can still be accessed by the customer by going directly to the address linking to the product page.

Tick Search Engine Bot Crawlers, Sitemap files if you want to enable product availability so product information will be displayed on search engines. Untick this option if you want to disable product availability to stop showing product information on search engines


Click Save changes
