This article will guide you through the steps to get your store profit analysis report on the PrintBase admin page.

This gives you an overview of your business profits as well as staff performance in all divisions of your company to plan your business adjustments accordingly.

Store profit is calculated based on sales, advertising cost, manufacture fee, and printing fee. In order for PrintBase to calculate advertising cost from Facebook ads channel (the main sales channel in the POD industry), you first need to connect the Facebook account you use to run your advertising accounts to your store.

Employee performance is evaluated by the revenue that employees bring into the company. To measure sales, you must first determine how many products an employee sells by assigning the campaign label you create on PrintBase to that employee. To calculate the cost of advertising used by an employee, you must assign the Staff Label to campaigns run by the employee on Facebook.

Step by Step Tutorial

From PrintBase admin site, go to Profit in Analytics.


In Profit dashboard:

If you have more than one store, you can select the store that you want to see its profit analysis by clicking on Current store and ticking the stores you want in the list displayed in the drop-down menu.


By default, the profit analysis page displays data for the previous 7 days. To view data for a different time period, click the calendar icon, then click the date as shown below, and select a date range, such as last 30 days, or set a time period by clicking on the date on the calendar. After you've chosen a time period for profit analysis, click Apply.

After you select the store and time period to view the report, the analytics shown below include:

Net profit: This is calculated using the following formula:

Net profit = Total revenue - Total advertising costs - Total production and printing costs



Staff performance: You can see the results of staff performance in the company's departments. Click the drop-down menu to select the department in the company you want to see the staff performance. Job results will be sorted by two criteria: Net profit and Unit sales.
