In this article, we will guide you on how to create a PayPal Business account from the ShopBase admin page.

Step by Step Tutorial

From ShopBase admin site, go to Settings > Payment providers.


In Payment providers, find PayPal and choose Sign up with PayPal.


Next, click Sign in/Sign up with PayPal.


In the PayPal Business account creation page, enter your email in Email to login or register. Then, select the country where your business is registered. In case you are not registered as a business but participate in individual business, please enter the address where you live. Click Next to continue.


If you already have a PayPal account, please enter your password and click Log In. You will be directed to step 8.


If you are signing up for a new account, please enter a password, confirm the password in the next page and click Next.


Fill in your business' information and click Agree and Continue. If you are not registered for a business but form an individual business, please enter personal information instead. Please note that the Primary currency section is the part where you choose the default currency for your PayPal Business account.


Choose the business form by clicking on the drop-down menu in the next page.


After that, enter the information related to your business and click Next.



In case you have an individual business but you have not yet registered as a business, you can choose Individual / Sole Proprietorship.
Next, provide your personal information for PayPal and click Submit to complete the process.


Afterwards, PayPal will notify you about successful registration/ logging in.


PayPal will send an email to your registered email address to verify your email address. Then, from your ShopBase admin site, go to Settings > Payment providers, you will see that the PayPal account you just signed up for is connected to the store.
