Create a bulk update price

Bulk update are modifications that apply to multiple or all products in your store. This feature helps you to manage, modify information related to products on a large scale more efficiently instead of fixing individual products.

In this article, we will walk you through all bulk update edit actions for which ShopBase allows you to apply the bulk update feature.

Step by Step Tutorial



Change price or compare-at-price before discount: choose Change price to or Change compare-at-price to in the drop-down menu in Action. Enter the price you want to set in the blank field.



Increase price by amount before discount: choose Increase price by amount or Increase compare-at-price by in the drop-down menu in Action. Enter the price you want to set in the blank field.



Decrease price by amount befire discount: choose Decrease price by amount or Decrease compare-at-price by in the drop-down menu in Action. Enter the price you want to set in the blank field.


Increase price by percentage before discount: choose Increase price by percentage or Increase compare-at-price by percentage in the drop-down menu in Action. Enter the price you want to set in the blank field.


Decrease price by percentage before discount: choose Decrease price by percentage or Decrease compare-at-price by percentage in the drop-down menu in Action. Enter the price you want to set in the blank field.


Update compare-at-price based on price before discount: compare-at-prices can be updated according to a certain percent (%) of the price. For example, the selling price of your product is $100, you set the system to adjust the original price before the promotion by 140% of the price of the product. Now the original price of the product before the promotion is ($100 x 140%) / 100% = $140. Choose Update compare-at-price based on in the drop-down menu in Action. Enter the percentage you want to set in the blank field.


Round/ Beautify price: This section will help you adjust your prices to look more attractive, stimulating customers to take action on the product page. Choose Round/Beautify price or Round/Beautify compare-at-price in the first drop-down menu in Action. Choose the rounding type you want in the second drop-down menu in Action with: Lower, Nearest, Upper. Enter the rounding value of the integer or decimal part you want in the third blank field.


For example, if you enter fields like the image below, it means you want to round the product sale price to the nearest number of the current selling price, so the unit row of the selling price is 9. For example, the current price is 123.00, the result will be 119.00. If you change the second menu option in the example below to Upper, the price would be 129.00. If you change the second menu option in the example below to Lower, the price will be 119.00.


For example, if you enter fields like the image below, you are trying to adjust the selling price of the product to the nearest decimal number of .99. For example the current price is 123.00, the result would be 122.99.
