How to create Exit-Intent Pop-up with SiteKit?

Exit-Intent Popup is a type of pop-up created by the Site Kit app, which will only appear if the site visitor is about to leave the page. Hence, it is very helpful in preventing visitors from exiting the page without shopping any products on the page, thereby improving your online store's conversion rates.

Using cursor tracking, the Site Kit application determines when a visitor clicks the Close button in the browser to automatically turn on the Exit-Intent Popup. You can either offer this group of visitors a discounted price or an interesting bonus displayed on the Exit-Intent Popup to gain attention and keep them from spending extra time on your website.

In this article, we will guide you to create the Exit-Intent Popup with SiteKit.

Step by Step Tutorial

From ShopBase admin site, go to Apps >> SiteKit Promotion Bar & Popup, click Popup


Click Create new Popup


After clicking on Create new Popup, perform the steps as in instruction on how to create a Popup with SiteKit and create Win Wheel with SiteKit. In Settings tab, choose Exit intent in When does it display so Popup appears when customers are about to leave your page.


After finishing all the steps, click Save & Publish

Note:

You can try to see how this Popup displays by visiting your store like a normal visitor, after viewing a few pages, hovering the mouse pointer over the tab close icon, then this Popup will be displayed.
